Meet the Plume Sleep Team
Vancouver’s #1 PAEDIATRIC Sleep CONSULTANcy
Meet Rosalie!
Founder, Registered Nurse and Paediatric Sleep Consultant
Hello, I’m Rosalie!
I live in Vancouver, British Columbia, with my husband and two young children. When my kids were born, I quickly realized how deeply sleep—or the lack of it—affects our wellbeing as parents. This personal experience inspired me to become a pediatric sleep consultant, guiding families through the challenging but rewarding journey toward better sleep.
As a Registered Nurse (RN) for over ten years, I’ve provided health counseling across all life stages. My background in Psychology, combined with my nursing expertise, has given me a strong understanding of human behavior and how to create lasting, meaningful change. Supporting families through tough transitions and improving their daily lives is not just my work—it’s my passion, and it’s at the core of what we do at Plume Sleep.
I believe sleep is as vital as nutrition and exercise, yet often overlooked. As parents, we strive to give our best to our children without losing ourselves in the process. Many of the families I work with love to travel, pursue their careers, and embrace parenthood while living life to the fullest. At Plume Sleep, we create sleep solutions that align with your values and lifestyle—helping you reclaim the rest you need and the freedom you desire.
Good sleep doesn’t just mean restful nights for your baby; it leads to a more balanced and fulfilling experience of parenthood.
Meet Jerika!
Registered Nurse and Paediatric Sleep Consultant
Hi, I’m Jerika! I am an RN with nearly a decade of experience working with newborns, young children, and their families. Since moving from PEI to BC in 2018, I have worked at BC Children’s Hospital across various pediatric units.
I currently work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and I have served as a paediatric home care nurse. Working with children and their families is my passion. So much so that outside the hospital, much of my time is spent nannying high-risk newborns (including twins!) and working on securing the title of #1 aunt to the many babies in my personal life.
My personal and professional mission is to support families in some of their most vulnerable, intense, and sometimes scary moments—arming them with strategies and techniques to best support their little one’s growth and development. Whether your baby started in the NICU or came straight home, sleep is an essential component of the baby’s (and family’s!) health; it is often one of the most difficult parts of parenthood to navigate.
Now, I am translating my enthusiasm for familial support and sleep education into my paediatric sleep consultant journey. It is truly a culmination of my experiences nursing, nannying, aunty-ing, and passion for education. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to teach families how to reach their sleep goals, and to enjoy full, well-rested lives that enable them to embark on life’s big adventures, whatever that may look like!
My adventures include an incredibly active lifestyle with my partner in beautiful Squamish, BC. From mountain biking, to surfing and snowboarding, I have an always-on-the-go lifestyle that is rooted in strong sleep habits and tools. I can’t wait to help you build those tools too.
At Plume Sleep, we want to help shift your family from survival mode to thriving. We want to help you find balance, happiness and satisfaction as a parent and an individual. This process begins with getting the sleep you need, and your child getting the sleep they need for their growth and development.
Our Philosophy
At Plume Sleep, we believe that a well-rested family is the foundation for a joyful and empowered parenthood. We understand that sleep training can feel daunting, but it’s not about rigid rules—it’s about providing your child with the opportunity to fall asleep in a new way, with your support.
We work with families who want more than just sleep; they want the freedom to enjoy life to the fullest, whether that means traveling, socializing, or simply feeling more present. We tailor our support to meet the unique needs of your family.
Here’s what you can expect when working with us:
-
Empowerment through education: We equip you with the tools and knowledge to confidently guide your child towards better sleep;
-
Customizable, family-first approach: We align our strategies with your parenting style, providing effective solutions that fit your lifestyle and comfort levels; and,
-
Freedom and flexibility: With better sleep, you’ll have the freedom to travel, embrace life’s adventures, and truly enjoy parenthood with a well-rested child.
Sleep should not be a barrier to living your best life. Let us help you reclaim your nights and rediscover the joy in your days.
