Owner and Founder of Plume Sleep, a Vancouver mom of two, and someone who absolutely loves (and needs) her sleep!

I know firsthand what it feels like to be sleep-deprived and desperate for a solution, which is why I’m passionate about helping parents like you reclaim your nights.

I cherish slow mornings with my coffee while my well-rested kids play, I love planning family vacations without worrying about sleepless nights, and I’m grateful that my husband and I can unwind in the evening with a glass of wine knowing the kids are down for the night.

Sleep shouldn’t feel impossible. It should feel light as a feather. My mission is to deliver real, tangible results to tired but determined parents worldwide.

Here at Plume Sleep, we empower you to feel confident about your child’s sleep—so you can truly embrace and enjoy parenthood.

Let’s work together to make restful nights your new normal.

Once we understand your ideal sleep situation, the magic happens. We dive into each piece of the sleep puzzle from nutrition and development, to your baby’s sleep environment, and uncover reasons behind their sleep struggles. We will guide you by introducing independent sleep skills that align with your family’s values, and equip you with a plan that works.

“Rosalie is a lifesaver!! First of all, she’s such a kind, friendly, patient person to talk to. Second, she knows her stuff and has a way of suggesting, not demanding, that you try certain techniques. She helped me realize that a room that I thought was dark simply was not dark enough – something I never would have realized without her! It made a huge difference in getting my son to sleep through the night. Third, she’s also incredibly encouraging and understands how tough it is for moms to hear their kids crying. She kept telling me how strong I was, which was just what I needed to hear. Absolutely recommend her and her techniques – well worth the time and money invested to now have a baby who takes great naps and sleeps through the night!”

— Brooke, mom of Bradley 9 months (USA)

“We are beyond grateful for Rosalie and how she transformed our lives. For 20 months I’ve been so tired from the lack of sleep. My son woke up multiple times a night and been feeding to sleep. This affected my mood and my relationship with my family. Rosalie helped us through the whole process and was so understanding and compassionate. She made sure that we are comfortable with the plan she created for us and that it was a gentle transition for my son. Just a few days in and my son is already sleeping through the night, in his own bed with no need to nurse. We also noticed that my son’s appetite has improved when he started sleeping better. It was one of the best decisions we ever made! Definitely recommended!! =D.”

— Christine, mom of Aleksandr 20 months (Canada)

Frequently Asked Questions

Learn About Our Philosophy on Sleep Training

What is sleep training?

Sleep training is the process in which you support your child to develop independent sleep skills as you shift away from sleep associations. With the development of these skills, you will find better sleep for your child and you.

Are your services covered by extended health benefits?

As a Registered Nurse, my services for sleep training may be covered by your health benefits plan. You may have coverage under a health spending account or Registered Nursing Services. Be sure to check with your provider for more information and coordinate reimbursement.

Will my child cry?

Likely. Crying is your baby/child’s way of communicating with you. They cry for a multitude of reasons (frustrated, too hot, too cold, bored, overstimulated, tired, hungry…etc.). Changes to their routine and expectations around sleep will be new for them, and they will communicate their confusion/frustration to you. Research has shown, crying will not harm your baby or your attachment.

I will never ask you to leave your child to cry it out alone. My goal is to work with your family with your comfort level in mind. I want to minimize those tears with the fastest forward momentum. If we need to take things slower, that is okay too!

When is the best time to sleep train?

This will depend on you and your family! Typically most children are developmentally ready to start learning independent sleep skills around 4 months of age. Some a bit earlier and some a bit later. With that said, laying a foundation for and shaping healthy sleep can start right from day 1!
